Moons Green Spicy Nduja is a seriously spicy Calabrian style soft salami made by John & Jose over in Kent.
Bang on trend this spicy salami is fantastic to cook with and even better spread on some sourdough bread.
Made with rare breed Kentish pork, several varieties of chilli, garlic and pepper, charcuterie heaven.

This is a well flavoured salami with pleasant chilli kick. However, it isn’t very like any of the Calabrian n’duja I have tasted, although that may reflect my lack of experience. It has preservative and a distinct cured taste. More significantly, it has a lower fat content and is not very spreadable. Nor does it melt when added to e,g mashed potato or pasta sauces etc. Having said all that, judged on its own merits rather than as an attempt to imitate something else, it is a very nice product great to eat with hard cheese or as part of a charcuterie spread.
