Burwash Rose is an English cheese produced by The Traditional Cheese Dairy in Stonegate, East Sussex.
Burwash Rose is a semi-soft cheese made from raw Frisian cow’s milk. Washed in English rose water, it’s creamy and sticky, with wonderfully pungent aroma – the perfect balance of notes, a true melt in the mouth cheese.
A traditionally made double muslined cheddar with hints of sweet hay and a slight crunch, perfectly crumbly, strong, yet creamy.
With the correct balance of acidity, it has a clean and sharp-edged flavour.
We have plenty more soft cheeses this way!
